This website highlights living people in their 90's and 100's (nonagenarians and centenarians) who were noted in some field during their lifetimes, e.g., the arts, sports, science, politics, etc., and then grew old.  While some of the 766 names may be familiar to you – Betty Ford or Kirk Douglas, for instance – most probably won't be.  Please take a moment to look through the pages and discover some of the lesser known, but equally worthwhile entries.

This site is not meant to be an in-depth study of old age and it isn't meant to be an exhaustive list.  Not everyone of note is here.  That would be impossible.  The vast majority of the individuals who are included, however, should definitely disprove the timeworn adage that only the good die young.  Enjoy!
